crisp, mouthwatering riesling

A pale straw color with flecks of green, this dry, crisp riesling tastes of sliced green apple, white peach, fresh squeezed key lime juice with hints of lemon verbena and a touch of salt. Classic riesling acidity and a stony minerality complements bright notes of stonefruit, it shows a whole breadth and depth of flavors that riesling has the capability of delivering. Le Blanc has a roundness in the wine that rarely finds its way into a riesling structure.

vinification & élevage

• Grapes are picked and gently crushed for an overnight soak. After pressing, there is a brief settling period before fermentation in a 36hL old oak foudre for about ten months. 

• The finished wine is aged on the fine lees.
